Neu Referral Program Rules

• OverviewThe “Neu” Referral Program (“Referral Program”) is a promotional Referral Program offered by Neu Money, Inc (DBA “Neu”) whereby current active customers (“Referring Customer”) are awarded a $20 Referral Reward (“Referral Reward”) for each new customer (“Referred Individual”), up to 25 Referred Individuals every calendar year, who apply, are approved and activate their Neu card. Referral Rewards are granted in the form of statement credit that is automatically redeemed towards the customer’s accrued statement balance at the beginning of each month as described herein. By participating in the Referral Program, you are accepting and agreeing to the rules as defined herein. These rules form an agreement between you and Neu with respect to the Referral Program. You should read these rules carefully. Neu reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time and in any manner, in whole or in part, as defined below.
• Program Eligibility
  • The Neu Referral Program(“Referral Program”) is open to all current active Neu customers whose account is in “Good Standing” (“Good Standing” is defined below) and in compliance with the terms and arbitration agreement found in the Neu Money DBA “Neu” Card Cardholder Agreement as may be amended from time to time, and any other disclosures agreed to as part of opening your Neu credit card.
    • Definition of Account in “Good Standing”: Neu Money defines a credit card account in good standing for the purposes of this Referral Program, as including but not being limited to an account that has been approved for one or both subscription options with a valid external bank account linked and is active, not blocked, past due, flagged, or restricted in any way.
  • Referring Customers or Referred Individuals cannot have more than one Neu credit card account at any time.
  • Referring Customers may only refer individuals who have never had a Neu credit card account.
  • Referrals must only be made to individuals that the Referring Customer knows personally as the Referral Program is not intended for commercial use or distribution such as through bulk emails, social media pages created specifically for generating Referrals, websites, newspapers, automated systems, bots, advertisements, etc.
  • Neu or Cross River Bank employees or either of their affiliates are not eligible to participate in the Referral Program.
  • Neu, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to determine Referral Program eligibility for referring customers and Referred Individuals at any time.
  • This program is void elsewhere and wherever it is prohibited by law.
• Referral Process
  • To refer an individual, Referring Customers must share their unique referral link with eligible individuals who may be interested in opening a Neu Credit Card account.
  • The unique referral link is accessible in the Neu mobile app.
  • Referred Individuals accept a referral invite by tapping on the referral link in the text message that was sent to them by the Referring Customer.
  • Subject to the Referral Program rules, after a Referred Individual applies and is approved for a Neu Credit Card, the Referring Customer will be awarded a $20 statement credit attributed to the outstanding account balance on their Neu Credit Card account.
  • Referral Credit will not be awarded to the Referring Customer if the Referred Individual does not use the unique referral link sent to them by the Referring Customer.
  • Referring Customers can refer up to 25 individuals per calendar year.
• Redemption
  • Subject to the Referral Program rules, after a Referred Individual applies, is approved and has activated their Neu Card, the Referring Customer will be awarded a $20 Referral Reward in the form of a statement credit that is automatically applied to the outstanding balance on their Neu Credit Card account.
  • The $20 Referral Reward will be calculated at the close of the billing cycle that it was earned in and applied to any outstanding balance on the Referring Customer’s Neu Credit Card Account at the beginning of the following month.
    • No Outstanding Balance on Account: In the event that no outstanding balance exists on the Referring Customer’s account, the awarded $20 Referral Reward statement credit will be carried forward and applied to any balance incurred during the next billing cycle.
  • Referring Customers may earn no more than $500.00 in Referral Rewards per calendar year.
  • Neu cannot disclose to the Referring Customer any information about a Neu Credit Card Account opened by any Referred Individual.
• Compliance with Program Terms
  • Rewards cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
  • Neu retains full discretion to determine qualification for the Referral Reward.
  • Neu reserves the right to refuse to issue a Referral Reward for any reason that Neu may deem appropriate, including but not limited to, noncompliance with the Referral Program Rules or any fraudulent or illegal behavior.
  • Referral Rewards will only be issued to Neu Credit Card accounts that have completed all of the referral process steps described herein and found to be in good standing.
    • Definition of Account in “Good Standing”: Neu Money defines a credit card account in good standing for the purposes of this Referral Program, as including but not being limited to an account that has been approved for one or both subscription options with a valid external bank account linked and is active, not blocked, past due, flagged, or restricted in any way.
  • Any personal information collected as part of the Referral Program will be processed and used in accordance with Neu’s Privacy Policy.
• Termination and Modification to Program
  • Neu, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the Referral Program Rules, eligibility requirements, amount of reward, type of reward, conditions of participation, or any other aspect of the Referral Program, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice; however, any changes will not impact previous Referral Rewards earned.
• Dispute Resolution
  • Any disputes arising from these Referral Program rules are subject to the arbitration agreement and class action waiver contained in Neu’s Cardholder Agreement.
  • Referring Customer concerns regarding perceived Referral Reward inaccuracies must be raised using the following steps:
    • Send details about the perceived inaccuracy by email to support@neumoney.app
    • Neu, in its sole discretion, will review the details of the perceived inaccuracy and determine whether or not a correction to the identified Referral Reward is necessary.
    • Any Referral Reward correction initiated by Neu will be made at Neu’s sole discretion and, if applicable, as a one-time courtesy.
• Limitation on Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
  • By participating in the Referral Program, you agree that Neu, it’s agents, representatives, affiliates, and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, claims, damages or any special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, resulting from your participation in the Referral Program or receipt or use of any Referral Reward, any failure or unforeseen delay by Neu in connection with the Referral Program, or the performance or non-performance of the Referral Program by Neu, even if Neu has been advised of the possibility of damages. This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, computer virus, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of any information provided by any person participating in the Referral Program.
  • Neu makes no warranty of any kind regarding the Referral Program or any Referral Reward, which are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Neu expressly disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and those arising by statute or otherwise in law or from a course of dealing or usage of trade. Neu is not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Referral Program or any Referral Reward, including without limitation that the Referral Program will be error-free, or as to the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any content or information distributed with respect to the Referral Program. Some states do not allow the limitation of liability and disclaimer of implied warranties, so the disclaimers and limitations above may not apply to you

 
These Referral Program rules make up the entire agreement between you (“The Customer”) and Neu relating to the Referral Program and replace any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the Referral Program. Any disputes arising from the Referral Program rules will be subject to the arbitration agreement and class action waiver contained in Neu’s Cardholder Agreement.
